3/1 THE DELTA MIRROR, Napela, Healamonster and Tarsier, Full Frontal @ The Echo

The LA-based Indie rock trio sing about the dreary shit you feel when you’re depressed, OD on drugs, or you’ve “got too much time on my [your] hands” because you’re an unemployed hipster. But, we all feel that way sometimes, and it’s that collective emotion that The Delta Mirror captures, and allows us to drown our sorrows in. Grab your tissues or Vicodin and head on over to Spaceland to catch them on Monday night.
Check out the rest of our picks for this week after the jump.
3/2 NICE NICE, We Break Cameras, Bullied by Strings @ Echo

Head back to The Echo Tuesday night for Portland-based duo Nice Nice. Guitarist Jason Buehler and percussionist Mark Shirazi have been making undefinable rock music comprised of melodies and free-form noise together for over a decade. Catch them in-town before their new record Extra Wow drops April 6.
3/3 EL PERRO DEL MAR, Taken by Trees @ Troubadour

Swedish French pop artist Sarah Assbring creates “melancholic lo-fi twee pop”, whatever that is. See her perform her soft-spoken atmospheric pop tunes Wednesday at the Troubadour.
Unfortunately, no recommendations for Thursday. Unless you like Bon Jovi. In which case, this is for you:

3/5 THE BIRD AND THE BEE @ El Rey Theatre

LA duo Inara George (“the Bird”) and Greg Kurstin (“the Bee”) play jazz-influenced indie pop. They were also on Yo Gabba Gabba – aka instant star cred. See them play at the El Rey on Thursday.
3/6 CHICKENS IN LOVE with The Submarines, The Growlers, Pity Party, Summer Darling, Thao Nguyen @ Echoplex & Echo

Spend your Saturday listening to The Submarines, The Growlers, Pity Party, Summer Darling, and Thao Nguyen from Thao with The Get Down Stay Down perform at The Echo and Echoplex from noon ’til 7pm.
