Unbeknownst to the masses, I find that “Pants On The Ground” is a brilliant meditation on the disparity in culture between the generations. The song reflects the baby boomer’s utter disgust of urban culture and contemporary fashion. The song should not be seen merely as an antic, but rather as General Larry Platt utilizing viral media as an attempt to influence the youthful community regarding their public image.
