Rolling Stone is reporting that this year’s Oscars telecast will not include performances from the best original song nominees as they’ve had in years past.
I’m mixed on this one. For every 2 good performances there are 3 during which I go take a leak. I can see where they’re coming from, but there have also been some pretty badass/moving performances in the past, so it’s a shame to lose that possibility.
Instead they’ll be playing the song over a montage of clips from the movie the song is from.
